Shirin Abrishami Kashani is a doctoral student in the Department of Political Science at Stanford. She is interested in the consequences of migration and immigrant integration in advanced democracies, with a particular focus on the political inclusion of immigrant-origin communities. Prior to joining the PhD program, Shirin earned graduate degrees in migration studies and international policy and worked as a policy analyst at the international migration division of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
