About
Savanna manages IPL’s communications, working with the executive director, program managers, faculty, postdocs, and graduate students to tell the stories of IPL’s impact across research and development areas. Prior to joining IPL, Savanna led communications and visual design at an education nonprofit focused on alternative schools serving historically underserved student populations in New York City.
Savanna holds a Master in Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs and a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Oregon. She is passionate about using storytelling and information design to support change across a range of social justice issues. Savanna served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras, where she supported efforts in protected areas management and sustainable agricultural.
