Moritz is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science at University College London (UCL) and an affiliated faculty member with the Immigration Policy Lab at Stanford University and ETH Zurich. Previously, he was an assistant professor at The Bush School of Government & Public Service, Texas A&M University. In 2016, Marbach earned his PhD in political science from the University of Mannheim, Germany. During his graduate studies, he was a visiting student in the Department of Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis and the Europe Center at Stanford University. Prior to joining Texas A&M, Marbach was a postdoctoral fellow at the Immigration Policy Lab.
