About

Melissa Franco, MPH, is a health policy PhD candidate specializing in decision science. Prior to joining Stanford University in 2021, she worked as a project manager at the University of Chicago, focusing on health services and outcome research in chronic and mental diseases. She earned her MPH with a specialization in epidemiology and biostatistics from Washington University in St. Louis, where she developed a research interest in dissemination and implementation science. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of California, Davis.

Melissa is interested in using analytical methods for evaluating and implementing quality improvement practices and health policy strategies in ethnic and racial minority populations.
