About
During her time at IPL, Elisa Cascardi managed the lab’s portfolio of projects related to US immigration and refugee policy, particularly on topics related to citizenship, legal services, and public health. She also helped introduce qualitative methods to generate additional descriptive understanding to IPL’s causal inference research. She has past experience as both a researcher and a practitioner, developing a global impact evaluation program on justice at the World Bank and leading legal services and advocacy for displaced persons across the Middle East. Elisa earned her MSc. at the London School of Economics, and has held previous roles at UC Berkeley, Asylum Access, and the Norwegian Refugee Council.
