Ph.D. Candidate, Stanford University
David is a PhD candidate in political science at Stanford. His research uses government case-tracking databases to better understand who is deported and why. From 2016 to 2019 he worked as an attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union Immigrants’ Rights Project in New York, where he helped litigate challenges to the Trump Administration’s use of immigration detention, its arbitrary revocation of DACA grants, and its three versions of the Muslim Ban.
