Edith Zink is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen. In her PhD, she examined the political economy of social exclusion with case studies in Tunisia, Tanzania, and Denmark. Her postdoctoral work expands this agenda through interdisciplinary collaborations with political scientists and psychologists, focusing on the social and economic integration of refugees in Denmark. She works primarily with administrative register data, but also has collected original surveys, and analyzed text data.

Her academic training also includes research stays at Stanford, Bocconi, and Stockholm University. Before her PhD, she gained research experience at the World Bank, Georgia Tech, and the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW).
