Cesar Vargas Nunez is a postdoctoral fellow at the Immigration Policy Lab. His research focuses on understanding the consequences of healthcare exclusion and the factors that shape public attitudes toward providing welfare to undocumented immigrants. His research has received support from the National Academies of Science Engineering and Medicine (Ford Dissertation Fellowship) and National Institutes of Health (NIH). He earned a B.A. in political science from Pitzer College and a PhD in political science from Stanford University.
