About
Swan Ye Htut is a Sociology PhD student at Stanford University. His research interests are in political sociology and social movements, in particular, on post-coup Myanmar and Myanmar diaspora communities in the US. He has conducted research on post-coup Myanmar digital activism and is starting a project on how ethnic communities in the Myanmar diaspora understand their ethnic identity, and negotiate ethnic boundaries in their activism efforts.
